June Photo Challenge: Day One

My first subject is..

I found the perfect spot in Millennium Park, Chicago:

The Cloud Gate

This side, facing west, shows the city in the background and Lake Michigan reflected in “The Bean”.

The opposite side, east, twists the Chicago skyline into the reflection of Cloud Gate, with Lake Michigan viewable from the trees behind it.

People love to stand on the inside and look up because it’s very hard to see where the mirrors end. It was pretty trip standing inside of it!

This place is SO neat! Definitely a must-see if you’re in Chicago 🙂

  1. I didn’t know the Bean’s actual name was “The Cloud Gate.” I’ve always known it as “The Bean.” I love taking photos near it and in it. They always come out so cool!

    1. I had no idea either until we got there 😋 I love photographing it because it’s mind-warping and presents opportunities to create something amazing and unique.
