Love Knows No Bounds

I know a thing or two about blended families and how they work. Biologically, I’m an only child. But by marriage, I have 5 older sisters and one younger brother. I even have 3 step-grandmas! I stumbled upon this quote by write, Richard Bach and realized how Perfectly this fit my life.

“The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other’s life.”

The day I married Bobby, I gained 3 of my 5 older sisters, Kristy, Kelly and Jenny. If it weren’t for my ever-growing blended family, I wouldn’t have had the chance to get to know these beauties from Chicago who welcomed me into their hearts and homes, no questions asked.

Kelly’s niche is her scrapbooking – she’s always posting amazing hand-made things on her blog, kelsterjean.com. One of my all-time-favorite creations of hers are her DIY Mini Notebooks – they make me want to fill them up with dreams, ideas and inspiration.

She can do incredible things with paper and her imagination – from wedding scrapbooks to cards for any occasion.

Both Kelly and Kristy created beautiful hand-made birthday cards for me last year:

I’m obsessed with these because they’re 3D! What is more fun than a card that literally pops?

Not to mention the fun colors and glitter!

I am so wonderfully lucky to have so much amazing family, from California to Virginia. Love knows no bounds.
