Simple, healthy lunch!


I’m such a sucker for fresh-baked bread! This pita sandwich was the perfect cure for that craving. I was also thrilled to find Tillamook cheese at the Commissary, the stuff on this sandwich is habanero jack – YUM! What really makes this lunch idea special is that I spread some of that hummus I made onto the pita instead of the usual mayo and mustard. Such a simple switch that adds protein and gives the tastebuds some joy. Have a great Monday!
